One of the most encouraging truths is that we are secure in Christ. While we are saved by faith, we can rest in the fact that we are secure in Him regardless of our failures and shortcomings.

Many Christians are not known for their love; however, the outflowing of our faith is love when we are walking in the Spirit. Are we walking surrendered to the Spirit today?

The Source of Love and Life

God has called us to love, and it is His very natural to love us. As a result of His love, we have the opportunity to know Him and live. Will we live today appreciative for Christ's life that was given for us?

There were many false teachers that abounded in John's day, and he warns us today to have discernment concerning this matter. It is great news that we have the Holy Spirit to aid us because He is greater. 

Confession is Good for the Soul

There are many things that can cause mixed feelings in our life. In our passage, one of things in particular is unconfessed sin, but forgiveness can be found. With the help of the Holy Spirit may we be bold in getting right God and others.
