Experiencing Grace Part 1

God Cares for the Broken

There are people that believe they are unloveable; however, God loves the most lowly. In God's providence, Ruth and Naomi see their needs met and find grace in the most unlikely of places. May we find encouragement that we are never outside of the care of God.

A Bitter Return Home

On her return home, Naomi begins to blame God and is bitter because of her tragic loss. Whether we are away from God or struggling to hear from God, the Lord longs to have a close relationship. Will we draw close to Him today? 

Pushing for a Decision

In the midst of tragedy and hurt, we learn from Ruth as she holds tightly to God. While Naomi pushed her daughters-in-law away, Ruth shows tremendous faith returning with Naomi. 

The Tragic Decision

In Ruth, we find a family hitting great difficulty with a famine taking away their food supplies leading to a tragic decision. During difficultly, do we look to live according to our human wisdom or do we look to live by faith? 

Every Need Supplied

As the Lord has met our greatest need in salvation, we can rest in the Lord knowing He will supply for our physical needs. The times of trouble and stress should not shake us, for he will meet our needs according to His riches. 

Partnering for the Gospel’s Sake

Partnering with the gospel in missions allows each giver to have fruit to their account. As we seek to share the gospel where each of us are physically, our gospel partnerships are helpful abroad. May we give sacrificially to advance the gospel. 

Strengthened Through Christ

The world pushes constant negativity onto society, yet it was Paul who wrote encouraging the Philippian believers that he had been divinely empowered to do all things through Christ. We should be encouraged that we are empowered to accomplish the will of God in our lives. 

Learning the Contented Heart

In seasons of plenty and seasons of poverty, Paul teaches us that he learned a to be content. While the Philippians were ministers to him, likely in a monetary way, he learned to be grateful for everything in every season of life.
