There is great value in understanding the brevity of life. We must be carful to consider God's plan for our life allowing Him to guide our steps. Will we take full advantage of this short life?

A Final Resolution

In a lost world, Christian must not grow callous to the seriousness of sin. James brings this to our attention to bring clarity that sin is not laughing matter. Humbling ourselves before God will allow us to be lifted up in due time.

There is a Remedy

As many struggle with friendship with the world, every believer can overcome and live in close fellowship with God. James lays out the remedy for each of us to live in victory each day.

James gives us a solution to the problem. Although it is a simple solution, it requires us to place God in His rightful place. It also requires us to understand our place. May we take the right step today.

Just like in James' day our churches today are facing issues, but James helps us identify the root cause. The problems stem from a deeper source that causes that boils over into other areas. May we identify the larger issue at hand.

As we have learned, the tongue is small, but it is full of poison if not controlled. In James fashion, he uses another illustration teaching that the tongue reveals it source whether good or bad. What will our tongue reveal?
